RUNWAY: Y-3 SS12

The plaid we saw dominate the Y-3 Fall/Winter 2011 runway made a cameo for SS12 and was joined by a tiled pattern. Other than those two patterns, the Y-3 showed mostly stark colors: black and grey, predominantly. With a Spring/Summer collection, there can only be so much we can say without repeating ourselves and with Y-3, it seemed like Y-3 was just repeating themselves. The clothes are athletic and well made but offered much of the same.
