RUNWAY: No. 21 FW19

Alessandro Dell'Acqua's latest collection for No. 21 was equal parts sophisticated and subversively sexy. There were elegantly cut coats (slightly oversized but flattering), sharp cigarette pants, patent leather and sheer tank tops - who cares if it's an autumn/winter collection? There was an elegance and lightness to the collection that shined through while the few patterns seen - like an anchor pattern knit - felt out of place (was there a nautical theme no one told us about?) Nevertheless, the collection's quiet sexiness, via chokers, leather pants, and the slinky layers, made this collection a stand out so far this show season.
