RUNWAY: DSquared2 SS18

It takes a certain kind of masochist to wear as much leather during the summer as was shown the runway at DSquared2's Spring/Summer 2018 collection. Then again, the collection was (partly) influenced by London's punk movement, see the buckled patent leather winklepickers and matching buckles on leather and patterned pants. This collection was truly a melting pot of inspirations from the aforementioned goth influence to Hawaiian shirts to 70s suiting. The strongest pieces included an oversized leather jacket with red, white and periwinkle stripes, as well as a sequined and almost iridescent Hawaiian shirt.
