RUNWAY: Fendi FW15
At the very heart of
Fendi is its craftmanship and its knowledge of exotic skins and furs.
Silvia Fendi put that on display today as the Roman label showcased its FW15 menswear. Shearling, crocodile, fur and suede were front and center in truly exquisite and intricate compositions. Bags were also plentiful and had plenty of fun (and profitable) trinkets, like sliced apples and Angry Birds pigs. There were also crocodile backpacks with a mesh pocket to hold one's soccer (err, football) ball, naturally. As for clothing, corduroy pants were outwardly simple but lush upon close up while the dizzying array of luxe outerwear ran the gamut from a leather jackets to a knit in a beautiful dégradé of wool to fur. Why not when money is no object for many of Fendi's customers.
