Since ascending to the top spot in Kering's luxury world, Alessandro Michele's official debut as Creative Director of Gucci was similar to the what he and his team took five days to assemble last month during the men's collection. Today, the first day of women's MFW, Michele showed a litany of jewel-toned androgynous designs, with familiar items seen last month as well, like the fur lined slippers. Rigid layers and pop art accessories were front and center at Siki Im's Fall/Winter 2015 presentation. The collection's austere tailoring was strongest in a long wool coat with an embossed baroque pattern while collar-less jackets and trainers emphasized a sportier take on tailoring.

Frankie Grande, the brother of Ariana Grande and contestant on Big Brother, continues to squeeze his fifteen minutes by sashaying down Malan Breton's Fall/Winter 2015 in the opening look, which set the tone for the collection: fiery and 70s. The rest of the collection echoed the big trend of the 1970s seen throughout this season. Looks that included more modern touches felt strongest, like the white trenches or a cropped Perfecto. There were also a handful of subtle floral patterned suits, which seemed misaligned with Breton's splashy aesthetic. Finally, Breton also wanted to let the audience know that he also proffers underwear, in case anyone didn't know.

A dizzying amount of colors, patterns and teddybear motifs littered Jeremy Scott's effervescent Fall/Winter 2015. The bright colors, the lighthearted nature of the clothes, and the naivete all melded together to resemble an acid-laced retrospective into once's childhood.

Greg Lauren, the nephew of American fashion icon Ralph Lauren, showed a nomadic collection for FW15 that was rooted in layers, of which there were plenty of military surplus-esque clothes, chunky boots, and a bit of fur and shearling for warmth and luxury. Meanwhile, a finale of tailored looks continued the collection's nomadic, disheveled look.
