RUNWAY: Corneliani FW15
With a dirt runway and a tree of life in the background,
Corneliani, a stalwart of classic Italian tailoring, offered a few hints of experimentation, though each look was very much rooted in the tailoring that is the label's bread and butter. Take the sumptuous suits in slim, two-button variety crafted from texture-rich boucle or an ombre fur coat, going from dark to light, that played on the classic silhouettes and traditional tailoring but added a bit of nuance and intrigue. As for outerwear, there were classic topcoats, boxy and relaxed in fit, and a handful sporty coats, in shiny leather or with fur trim, that targeted a offered something a little less formal and more casual.
