RUNWAY: Tim Coppens FW14

Since launching his eponymous label, Tim Coppens has focused strongly on an activewear meets high fashion approach and he inched closer this season to his nirvana with a sporty fabrics and a mountain climbing inspired collection. While sleeker options like minimalist outerwear in stark colors with faint accent colors under collars and lapels were smart and a step forward, the highlight was Coppens' use of technical fabrics, working like a magician to construct a chic coat from nontraditional fabrics. Not only were these looks crafty and cool, it was still wearable.
