RUNWAY: Paul Smith FW14
After a psychedelic SS14,
Paul Smith explores a more demure take on the 1970s. The LSD prints were gone and the British designer's musical influences were front and center via musical notes, sometimes just one two on a knit or on an entire coat. Adding a bit of sparkle from sequins on shirts or showcasing his classic English tailoring skill, Smith combined the codes he has made famous and intertwined them with a relaxed vibe, like one might see at an opium den.
