RUNWAY: Fendi FW14

Fendi wanted to remind everyone that they're known for their furs so what better way than to cover the entire runway in fur? That's exactly what Sylvia Fendi did for FW14; she not only showed off the new collection but also the house's new show space. For the upcoming season, it was all about mixed media, pairing furs with skins with wools and cashmeres, as well as cottons. Under less expert hands, the result could have been a mess but the Fendi family has ample knowledge at creating sleek silhouettes even with high pile furs like beaver. Particularly fetching were the rugged jackets and coats.
