RUNWAY: Richard Chai Love SS13

Richard Chai's Love collection for SS13 started out like a dream with layers upon layers of translucent fabrics in a shade that was, for lack of a better adjective: ethereal. Then Chai's edgy designs blasted onto the runway with harder, more urbane looks, playing up a military theme that's been so rampant in menswear lately it's reached superfluous proportions. In the end, the highlight of the collection were the pieces that evoked such a lightness that could, of course, only be achieved with transparency.
