RUNWAY: Billy Reid SS13

If one was not sure about the ascension of Billy Reid into the higher echelon of fashion in New York, one only needs to look at his multiple CFDA awards, the launch of his first runway show and the models who donned his clothing for SS13. Reid's signature aesthetic was relaxed a bit for SS13, as were the proportions. Knits were light and draped the body just so, while suits had a relaxed feel, a harder feat to accomplish than created a hard edged silhouette. In all, the collection was another win for the Louisiana-based designer.
