RUNWAY: Jean Paul Gaultier FW12

Since being sold off to Portuguese conglomerate, Puig, Jean Paul Gaultier had a few ups and downs the past 12 months. For Fall/Winter 2012, the French couturier went back to the cornerstone of his design aesthetic: flamboyant menswear. Seen on the runway were all the familiar faces like Andrej Pejic, Willy Cartier and Gabriel Burger, sporting Gaultier's luxurious offerings in fur, velvet and cashmere, and the occasional floor length skirt.
