J. Crew shocked fashionistas by announcing they were going to stage a presentation of their mens and womens Spring/Summer 2012 collections during New York Fashion Week. When it was finally time to show the collection, the newly private company showed a collection of impossibly chic and wearable clothes that the mass general population will gobble up. Since restructuring their company, J. Crew has gained popularity and credence from the fashion industry by showcasing upscale clothes at affordable prices without too much glitz.
