RUNWAY: John Lawrence Sullivan SS12

John Lawrence Sullivan's Spring/Summer 2012 collection had influences ranging from music, punk, and youth culture, showing that the three are not mutually exclusive. He often mixed hard and soft clothes, like a leather vest over a perforated shirt with tailored shorts or boyish with hard rock, like an electric blue leather jacket with cropped shorts. In all, the collection had a fluidity between the looks that worked but ironically didn't much identity as individual looks.
