RUNWAY: Christophe Lemaire SS12

Following his appointment as head designer of Hermes' womens ready-to-wear collection, Christophe Lemaire has chosen a simple presentation of his SS12 mens collection, starring Portuguese model Armando Cabral. The softly tailored collection features hinted at an Asian influence. It turns out that that influence comes from the movie "Days of being Wild" by Wong Kar-Way. The mainly simple color palette got an influence of color from the foliage print Lemaire uses. In the end, the SS12 collection was quietly powerful.
