RUNWAY: Costume National Homme SS12

Costume National Homme's mod-infused collection was, quite simply put, spectacular. From the shoes to the short shorts to the geometric patterns seen on practically every piece, it was a sight to behold. Never one to shy away from a bit of razzle-dazzle, Costume National Homme took Italian tailoring a bit further than it's used to going, such as short sleezed suits and asymmetrical closures, paired with slouchy trousers, with colors finishes that ranged from matte to shiny to ultra-textured. The overall effect was wonderful, especially seeing some "out of the box" thinking from an Italian house that doesn't rhyme with nada.
