RUNWAY: Christian Lacroix SS12

Christian Lacroix (the man) is no longer involved in any of the designs for his namesake brand. Sacha Walckhoff has now taken over as Creative Director of the brand and that includes Lacroix Homme. For SS12, Walckhoff was all about cropped pants and a lean silhouette. Lacroix's house has always featured very elaborate designs and what Sacha Walckhoff did for SS12 was channel that into a collection that was far more wearable than most of what Lacroix (the man) usually presented,both in mens and womens. SS12's collection was sleek and had some Americana influences, like in Peter Bruder last look, with a blue sweater and wide pinestripe trousers.
