RUNWAY: Pringle of Scotland FW11

Pringle of Scotland reinforces one of the trends of Fall/Winter 2011: fur trims; as previously seen in Ermanno Scervino, Burberry Prorsum, and Salvatore Ferragamo. The knits and cashmere at Pringle of Scotland are heavenly and photographs can never do them justice. However, what can be seen from his collection is an array of beautiful clothes, some cut more traditionally and others, like a dramatic lapeled jacket with an asymmetrical closure harkens that seen on the runways of Rick Owens and Gareth Pugh, are much more daring. Nevertheless, the patterns seen on the sweaters are lovely, whether it's Fair Isle or plaid, these are clothes that many people will want to own because they're timeless.
