RUNWAY: Neil Barrett FW11
Neil Barrett presented his Fall/Winter 2011 collection in Milan and the clothes were futuristic and color blocked. Bottoms were cut close to the body and accessorized with geometric shapes with large seams, the circular shapes were either of matching color or color blocked, as those seen in
Philipp Bierbaum's first look. As the collection went on, however, the monochromatic striped shirts with the sweaters, as well as the faux-fur (?) coat and another coat with fur lining seemed out of place in the otherwise futuristic collection. Suits were seen in suede, single and double breasted, color blocked (a la Raf Simons Spring/Summer 2010) or worn as separates. As a whole, it was cohesive and wearable.
