RUNWAY: DSquared2 FW11

Dean and Dan Caten continue their camping experience for their DSquared2 line, this time the models are on a hiking expedition, with a large constructed mountain motif in the background, as well as a mini-trailer. Putting aside the surroundings, the clothes that were presented reaffirmed the Twins' tailoring skills. Suits and outerwear were cut with laser precision and were always modern and flattering, from wool toggle coat to an overcoat cut so close to the body, one would have to layer quite carefully to pull the look off.

All the looks were complimented by a bowler hat of varying sizes. The collection evoked an old Hollywood Western with modern clothes presented with jeans (when not in a suit), of which most were distressed and had a relaxed fit. The aprons and smocks the models worn, with fishing gloves also reminded us of the outfit Dexter on the show under the same name wears when he does his deed.
