RUNWAY: Giorgio Armani FW11
Giorgio Armani's collection was wonderfully chic but one had to look closely because if just a glance was given to each garment or look, the novelty of the clothes would be lost. When one sees a Giorgio Armani show, one expects suits and men had a large collection to choose from. Suits were seen deconstructed or structured, to single or double breasted to ones with patterns to those that were quilted or a solid color. The outerwear was classically cut, nothing too out of Signor Armani's aesthetic. Overall, the collection will surely keep Signor Armani in business, selling well all over the world, especially in China, where he has been expanding his boutiques and where his lifelong mix of Asian influence can be fully realized and appreciated.
