RUNWAY: Z Zegna FW11
Z Zegna consistently delights and this collection was no different. The proportions were askew just slightly but never enough to be cause for concern, they only created more interest in the clothes, a perfect example is
Nick Rae's first outfit: the coat is cut to create volumes in the body but cinched at the waist, with the collars raw and his cigarette pants slim. Another trend from Milan is an emphasis on shoulders and Z Zegna showed shoulders that were rounded, squared or deconstructed. The few prints and patterns that were shown were not too loud and seemed to only advance the show's theme. Overall, the collection was succinct and covetable.
