RUNWAY: Etro FW11

Etro is most known for their colorful stripped shirts and the restraint in this collection was surprising. The shades of brown that started the collection was mostly devoid of the bright and happy color combinations we're used to seeing from Etro. There was some slight flamboyance in the collection but otherwise, it lacked a defining motif; it could be easily mistaken for some other brand. The collection was well tailored but it seemed too bland for a brand that built its reputation on making bold statements with your clothes.
