RUNWAY: Emporio Armani FW14

Square jackets and textured fabrics were all the rage at Emporio Armani's sporty Fall/Winter 2014 show. When it came to fabrics, fur, velvet and chunky wools were preferred over Armani's usual use of more subtle fabrics. The Italian designer has been infusing new life into Emporio Armani, as well as his eponymous label that will show its FW14 collection tomorrow. Even though the maestro is nearly 80 years old, his ability to cut a mean suit and look at life (and dressing) a little differently is a life lesson to his younger counterparts.
