RUNWAY: Monse SS19

Surprise: Monse now makes menswear. Though technically, the nearly 20-or-so looks shown on male models are unisex, as are many of Monse's looks since their aesthetic trends towards those inspired by menswear. Nevertheless, men no longer need to rummage through their girlfriend or wive's closets to borrow a sweater or polo from Monse, they can confidently purchase them themselves now. For SS19, the sporty, rope-motifs pervaded the "men's" section while quirky details like asymmetrical polos and mixed media layers offered a modern approach to dressing.
