Balmain's Olivier Rousteing offered a Michael Jackson-inspired collection that melded the King of Pop's 80s aesthetic (rolled up pants, thick white socks and loafers) and the iconic font used in his Thriller cover with the maison's signature opulence to create a coherent collection, with both aspects working symbiotically.
