RUNWAY: Marni FW18

Marni's off beat and, wait for it, quirky take on fashion is normally a delight. Its latest collection is no different. It was as if the first look was a model upon which all the boyish models had to emulate: how does a grown man dress? The resulting 40-plus looks that followed looked like playful outfits concocted by children on how they think men should dress: there were ill-tied ties, a mish-mash of patterns and prints, and a host of oversized, elongated and wrinkled wears that brought the idea of children playing dress-up home.
