Alessandro Sartori's time at Ermenegildo Zegna stretches quite a number of years, though not consecutively. His sartorial style is quite impeccable and mixed with the economy of scale that Zegna offers, his collections have been a knock out. Take this 50s tinged SS18 collection, with silhouettes oversized but neat and subtle patterns sporadically shown throughout, it was forward thinking by disguising heavy looking garments that were effortless light, perfect for hot and humid Italian summers. One of the biggest highlights of the collection was the embrace of color, like a fuscia topcoat or a chocolate bomber.
