RUNWAY: Tom Ford FW16

Tom Ford joins the growing legion of designers who are opting to show their collections in-season, meaning once the runway show concludes, the collection is available for sale online and, depending on the time of the show, in stores. Ford returned to New York, the city that saw his first stand-alone store and the city where he held his comeback to womenswear, to show his "see now, buy now" FW16 collection. Lush fabrics and a bold, 70s-heavy theme was seen throughout with standout pieces including a waterproof silk parka and the psychedelic patterned evening jackets.
