RUNWAY: Salvatore Ferragamo FW16

Salvatore Ferragamo is one of the stalwarts of Italian tailoring, their shoes gave the label an international following. While its fashions have always trended towards ultra conservative boardroom tailoring, Massimilliano Giornetti has injected life into the label and for FW16 that came in the form of a boho-cum-tailoring collection. Kitschy knits with hearts and arrows added a much needed youthful element while some very smart coats like one in a beautiful shade of tangerine was one of the highlights of the almost-40 looks.
