RUNWAY: Nasir Mazhar FW16

A mostly gender neutral militaristic collection was what Nasir Mazhar proffered for the upcoming FW16 season. There were textured tops and bottoms that looked like body armor while revealing outfits, seen both on men and women, highlighted a subversive and sexual undertone. With the geopolitical situation in Europe as it is now, with recent attacks in Paris, an evolving migrant crisis and a global economic downturn, Mazhar seems to be saying we should be ready to suit up and ready ourselves.
