RUNWAY: Fendi FW16

For Fendi's Fall/Winter 2016 collection, Silvia Fendi created a playful collection that nodded to her family's rich history of fur by proffering kitschy takes on fur like a Big Bird-esque yellow bag, which matched the lining of a coat or a fuzzy fur suit or the cozy fur shoes. The lighthearted collection did not stop there, patch applique in lieu of a crest of a knit or googly eyes on a bag rounded out the collection. Aside from the more fantastical pieces, there were actually some good designs like a plaid topcoat or a thatched and textured knit.
