RUNWAY: Sankaunz FW15The naivete of Sankaunz's FW15 show, presented by GQ China once again, was charming. Pastel colors kicked off the collection with childlike frills and printed designs looked dreams, or drug induced visions, whichever. Bruised faces looked like spills on the playground while cropped trousers resembled ones your mom made you wear but you've since grown out of. Amidst all the lighthearted frills, the show ended on a more somber and hard-edged note, with an emphasis on tailoring and texture. Embossed jackets and pants were very chic but felt out of place with the rest of the collection, though it could be said that the finale is when the dream, from earlier, ends. When we've outgrown our childhoods. Or, if the drug references are followed, the hole we fall into after our high has ended.
