RUNWAY: Moncler Gamme Bleu SS15
Every season, Thom Browne picks a sport as his inspiration for his collection for Moncler Gamme Bleu, whether it be skiing, fencing, or boxing, which was today's sport du jour. From shirtless models in shiny boxing shorts to ones wearing thick stitched coats that resembled the stitching seen on boxer's gloves, complete with lace-up boots, it was all about boxing.Though Moncler attempts to double down on its designer collaborations (Moncler Gamme Rouge by Giambattiste Vali now offers menswear), Browne sent down a flurry of womenswear looks that departed from the boxing theme but for the men who this collection is essentially for, the look was easy to follow, take for example the roomy quilted layers with elongated shorts and plenty of tri-color red, white and blue stripes, Browne's signature.
