RUNWAY: Opening Ceremony FW14

Before they were at Kenzo, Carol Lim and Humberto Leon were known for their work at Opening Ceremony, a trendy shop in New York. For Fall/Winter 2014, the retailer's private label staged a runway show that showcases its offerings for FW14. For its menswear, there were sporty looks that seemed to reference winter sports, like skiing, while geometric color blocking looked almost military in its precision. The collection's identity is different from that of Kenzo but at this point, it seems Kenzo and Opening Ceremony are siblings, with enough similarities to see a commonality between the two but with enough differences to tell them apart.
