RUNWAY: Miharayasuhiro FW14
Japanese designer
Mihara Yasuhiro looked to the 60s when designing his Fall/Winter 2014 collection, shown via a static presentation in lieu of his usual runway show. The sporty and print laden collection added a dash of 60s frivolity by adding metallic pockets on a well tailored military coat or stripe detailing on a marvelous herringbone coat over tapered trousers with military-green cuffs. Yasuhiro continues to create chic and interesting fashion but is often eclipsed by the big houses that garner far more attention, a static presentation is not a way to garner the attention and praise he deserves.
