RUNWAY: Duckie Brown SS14

Daniel Silver and Steven Cox can rest a little easier now that they only have one ready-to-wear collection to design. Their collaboration with Perry Ellis lasted only two seasons but now the duo can concentrate on Duckie Brown and it showed through with a surprisingly wearable collection that had all the eccentricities and quirkiness we've come to know from the duo. Womenswear influences were aplenty from halter tops to cropped floral cutout jackets while a nod to natural fabrics was also seen via a series of seemingly vegan-friendly fashion. It was more a more refined collection that relied less on strict tailoring but rather favored a looser silhouette and very relaxed tailoring.
