RUNWAY: Z Zegna SS14
Z Zegna's
Paul Surridge continues to redefine the Z Zegna man into a sportier, more relaxed man who prefers a minimal look but enjoys playing with proportion and prints. That's exactly what Surridge put down the runway today, the final day of Milan Fashion Week. Ethereal looks pervaded the collection, with crisp colors and stunning technical fabrics and finishes. A series of dandier looks also provided alternatives, like pajama inspired daywear in muted striped tones. In all, the collection restrained in its play on proportion and fit and when melded with the strong, albeit sometimes moody, color story, the collection was a win.
