RUNWAY: Philipp Plein SS14

After Philipp Plein's ill-timed and in poor taste FW13 show, he pulled back the unnecessary props and tacky clothes. Choosing instead to show clothes that not only would sell but wouldn't offend. Well made suits came in a relaxed fit, many with wider lapels on buff models. Since Raf Simons showed short suits a few seasons ago, they've been a runway staple for many labels and Plein adds his name to that exhaustive list. In the end, it was a collection that many will want for its runway name and some good designs like the motorcycle jackets.
