RUNWAY: Jean Paul Gaultier SS14

Jean Paul Gaultier has been shocking fashion lovers around the world for decades. So it's with no surprise that his SS14 presentation had some gender-bending aspects, though this is not nearly as shocking as it was in previous decades. As disappointed as many might have been that Gaultier opted not to show a full fledged runway show once again, he made up for it by creating a light and airy collection with prints and patterns that, relatively speaking, were not that loud. Chipped tiles, brick, foulards and florals all made cameos throughout the presentation while elongated shirts paired with either a light jacket and tight pants that double as leggings, were quite on trend.
