RUNWAY: Diesel Black Gold SS14

After Nicola Formichetti's ill-fated two year stint at Mugler, he became the Artistic Director of Diesel. Though we're not quite sure the extent of his influence is on Diesel Black Gold's SS14 collection, this collection was more restrained and monochromatic than the brand's usual wild, rocker look. The motorcycle jackets were plentiful and that's mainly because they're big sellers and that's understandable to see so many from such a big brand whose income stream stems from clothing rather than outerwear. In all, it was a much more demure collection and we quite liked it compared to previous showings.
