RUNWAY: Dolce&Gabbana FW13

Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana created a romantic homage to their heritage for their Fall/Winter 2013 collection. The maximist designers offered wide, pleated trousers, slightly oversized proportions, strong embroidery and a cast that was handpicked by the design duo to walk, all of whom have no formal training as models but are "regular" Sicilians who are having their 15 minutes of fame on the Milanese catwalk. The finale was offered many religious inspired tops, not unlike a certain Italian couture designer in Paris but minus the elegance.
