RUNWAY: Rick Owens FW12

Rick Owens' evolving use of color took on a new change for FW12. The Paris-based designer showed a beautiful sky blue hue that accented the mostly black and grey collection. Owens also hints towards a more streetwear-friendly view of fashion with sneakers being featured rather than his usual high-concept shoes. The collection took on futuristic themes as well, which could be seen in the linear jackets and billowing proportions that were seen towards the end of the collection. We really appreciate Rick Owens' collections for their technical and tailoring expertise, as well as his ever-evolving view of his line; proving he's not just a one trick pony.
