RUNWAY: Siki Im SS12

Siki Im, who studied architecture at university, showed his SS12 collection in New York earlier this week and as we've come to expect from Siki Im, the collection had its architecture references with sharp lines and a preciseness we expect from people of that profession. But for Spring/Summer 2012, Siki Im added light wash denim and a gorgeous hue of periwinkle to the collection that change rocked our world; though it's still early, we may venture to say that Siki Im's SS12 collection is our favorite thus far. A large part of that is due to the fact that the styling was so precise and calculated without being drab, a coup for David Vanderwal who styled the collection.
