RUNWAY: Marc by Marc Jacobs SS12

Hot on the rumor that Marc Jacobs might be jumping ship from Louis Vuitton to Christian Dior womenswear, he showed his diffusion line tonight to even bigger fervor and the results was a blinding public service announcement that color blocking is the trend of Spring/Summer 2012. Though Jacobs did show some pieces with great patterns (see Abiah Hostvedt's look), the solid color pieces paired with other solids were the standouts, especially the outfit own by David Hlinka: a seamoss green suit with a shiny blue polo.
