RUNWAY: GAP SS12
With no head designer and creative director, giant American retailer
GAP showed their SS12 collection during New York Fashion Week. The absence of a creative director was felt since the collection was not creative in the slightest, instead they presented a collection of GAP staples in lots of colors. Not that the clothes were bad but rather they were predictable and safe. Colorful bottoms were plentiful and tops were light and equally colorful while their denim was overdyed and worn-in. We hope they appoint a replacement for
Patrick Robinson soon.
