RUNWAY: Versace SS12

Donatella Versace went back to the house's heritage for SS12 and it was so well done we were in awe. Wherever Gianni Versace is, we hope he saw the collection because we think since Donatella taken over after Gianni's murder, this collection was the epitome of it all, a total and complete homage to her brother's legacy. The beautifully tailored suits were seen in a shade of blue that could only be seen on the beaches of Miami. Speaking of beaches, the collection had a swimwear collection was the bright, beautifully patterned, and super sexy. Though the Versace man's identity is a bit in limbo after a few seasons of super futuristic collections and now this homage to 1990s Versace, we absolutely adore this collection and want so many of the pieces: they are masculine and sexy with just a hint of "tacky."
