RUNWAY: Pringle of Scotland SS12

Pringle of Scotland's collections always pay homage to its heritage, mainly known for its cashmere so it was no surprise that lightweight cashmere and cashmere-blends were featured in the collection. However, the standout pieces were the cropped suits and suit separates seen in the first half of the collection. We still prefer the lean silhouette over the wider and boxier silhouettes we've seen this season so the lean and tailored looks were a sight for sore eyes. Prints that were utilized were geometric and not horrendous at first sight, which were also pleasing to see. For a house who's claim to fame is cashmere, it has certainly expanded its reach with this collection.
