RUNWAY: Moschino SS12

Much like Prada did yesterday, Moschino's SS12 collection went for the tacky factor. And the good news is that, like Prada, Moschino succeeded in turning a collection that went for tacky and, we'll say it, ugly into something that works, and works well. The show started with 1950s references, then went on to a kind of vintage poker dealer meets bowler look, then ultimately to the evening looks of glittering suits and tuxedoes, all culminating into a fun collection celebrating the irrelevance of it all.
