RUNWAY: Gazzarrini SS12

Gazzarrini's SS12 collection was more adventurous than we would expect from the Italian brand. There were slashed jackets, button embellished garments (trousers, shirts and jackets) and lots of high waist, dropped crotch trousers. The generally very well tailored and provider of a very Italian aesthetic seemed more in tune with Parisian designers than the Milanese crowd this SS12. There were some great pieces like some of the patterned and paneled jackets and the deconstructed suit separates were also quite beautiful. In all, we were left a bit perplexed at their inspiration and references.
